Dr. Ashley Eisenback graduated from the Virginia-Maryland
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 with an
interest in public/corporate and animal shelter veterinary
medicine. While in vet school she started and directed a
foster-based animal rescue named the Animal Welfare Foster
Program, which is still thriving in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Following graduation she worked temporarily as a relief
veterinarian at Planned Pethood, a low-cost spay/neuter
clinic in Rocky Mount, Virginia. She then became the
Behaviorist and a veterinarian for the Roanoke Valley SPCA
and Regional Center for Animal Care and Control in Roanoke,
Virginia. She followed her husband, Brian Eisenback, to
Dayton, Tennessee, where he is a college biology professor
and she has started her own mobile house call practice. Dr.
Ashley is still very involved with local animal rescue
organizations and currently volunteers with the Rhea County
Animal Shelter.
